Kids & Money Game Night: Free Pizza Party with Prizes
Family Tax is sponsoring a money-game night for kids, Thursday, August 7, 2003, 6 PM, in their Pompano Beach Accounting and Tax
Office. Using Cashflow for Kids (ages 10 - 12) and Cashflow 101 (ages 13 through high school), the students will begin to understand the relationship between
income and spending, by learning about an income statement and balance sheet and their relationship. Developed by Robert Kiyosaki, author of Rich Dad, Poor
Dad and Rich Kid, Smart Kid, the games give kids a fun, creative way to learn how money works while challenged with the game's goal: to get out of the Rat
Race.
Family Tax President, Duane Siers, is an Enrolled Agent, a taxation specialist with a federal license to represent taxpayers before the
IRS in every state. While specializing in business and individual tax problems, Family Tax is also committed to the community as a participant in the
Deerfield Beach Neighborhood Initiative Summer Youth Employment Program. Jackee Joseph, age 14, who will be attending Atlantic Vocational High School Nursing
Program in Cypress Creek, is employed in the Family Tax office, learning payroll tax preparation including 941s and UCT-6s, bank reconciliations, and the
QuickBooks Pro check register. She has also had a hand in entering basic information for personal income tax returns, including W-2 data and preparation of
related client files.

In addition to office administration training, Jackee is overseeing the Kids & Money Game Night, and is graduating from the
community program the next day at a recognition luncheon for exceptional student achievement. (Jackee's picture with the Cashflow Game available on request.)
Parents are also invited for pizza and encouraged to attend the game night. Registration is a must either by phone (954-969-0088)
or on-line at www.familytax.com. Space is limited. It is highly recommended that students or their parents read one of the above books before
game night. This is an educational opportunity for an academic headstart to financial freedom when monthly passive income exceeds monthly expenses.
Kids can begin to define their allowances or wages in terms of cash flow and where that money goes. Is it spent or put someplace to earn money itself?
Prizes are included and fun is guaranteed.
